Today we are joining Rolo our furry friend from Auckland who is going to share five of his favorite places around town.

First we head to the north shore to Birkenhead and Rollo's most favorite walk through Chelsea Estate Heritage Park  🌿 With both on leash and off leash areas its the perfect dog friendly place.

After crossing over this bridge, there is a fork in the path where you get to choose between a little forest walk or a little beach area for a swim. There is also the Chelsea Sugar Cafe where you can grab coffee and a sweet treat 🍩.

Practice your nighttime photography or just enjoy the festive feel of Britomart at night lit up by fairy lights all year around. Mixing up the things you do with your dog is a great way to grow confidence, but remember to take plenty of treats for rewarding good behavior 😉.

Are you looking for a walk where sniffing is key? With all the fantastic flowers in Dove Myer Robinson park (also called Parnell rose gardens) your walk will be an experience for all. Even in the winter months this is a lovely walk where you can reach the waters edge and meander through paths for an hour or so.

Hello Sailor Bakery in Takapuna is our favorite dog friendly café that offers pup cakes, puppaccinos and biscuits during the weekends! Not only is the atmosphere so vibrant, the food and coffee are delicious for the hoomans too. Definitely one of our favorite places to eat in Auckland!
Silo park has the most gorgeous lights and colours at night. The view of the sky tower and the harbor bridge from here are so stunning! It's sometimes still buzzing with activity at the basketball court and playground even late into the night.
We hope you liked this little look into Rolo's favorite spots, over the next few weeks we are going to bring you views from six other dogs from around little old NZ 😊
